A number of personnel from the clinic have been given the opportunity, via SOK and Mount Elgon Orchards, to follow a (further) study. At the moment, the following people are studying:

1. Physiotherapy student Dickens Onyango.

2. Medical student Solomon

The SOK has begun sponsoring (a part of) the doctors study in Kampala for Solomon (who worked previously for the clinic as aclinical officer). This study will take some years, after whichSolomon will start working in the hospital as a fully fledged doctor.

Furthermore, the clinic personnel regularly takes part in seminars to stay up to date with the latest developments in the treatment of TB, AIDs and malaria.
