On 4th November last, 70 pupils of the St. Barbaraschool from  Tuitjenhorn
demonstrated their athletic skills at the tracks in Warmenhuizen, all to the
benefit of  SOK.

A team from the InHolland HBO study in Haarlem (Rookie Events) ensured the
smooth running of the event, helped of course by many willing volunteers.
The many sponsors funded the location and refreshments Even the weather, on
an initially rainy day, turned out to be fine in the end. The amount raised
was considerable: 2507 Euro. A wonderful contribution to the financing of
the new x-ray building which is an extension of the clinic, built in 2007.

The winner, Tom Laan, was awarded with a trophy for raising 103 Euro. The
winning class, 8b, raised the the impressive sum of 474 Euro.
