April 2011 InHolland students support SOK once again! A group of HBO students from InHolland in Haarlem have come up trumps once again by organising Rookie Events to raise money for SOK. Students Daphne van Doorn, Esmee van Rooy, Martijn Reede en Tim Dinnissen, together with Salsa Motion, organised “Salsa for Kenya” for the second time. During the festival, which took place in the station in Haarlem, the SOK film "Old and new clinic" was shown. After the the dance event, the SOKomedie marathon was held in the Comedy café in Amsterdam (see flyers). Various stand-up comedians performed for free and provided lots of laughs. Shame that beautiful spring weather caused a  lower than expected turnout. However, the total amount raised was more than €1100, a great contribution for the new staff housing project. With many grateful thanks for the students for all their efforts.
